Next, we will e-mail you a concept photo showing the proposed changes to your smile. Our digital imaging technology helps patients understand what to expect after such cosmetic dentistry treatments as porcelain dental veneers and teeth whitening at our Los Angeles-area practice in Westlake Village. The image can be modified with any adjustments you wish to make.

From the approved concept photo, a three-dimensional mock-up will be made using measurements from your jaws and teeth. This mock-up will be given to you as a temporary "test drive" so you can determine whether any additional changes need to be made. Once the final modifications are complete, the models and photos are sent to our world-class ceramist, Carlos Puga.

Your complete satisfaction is essential to the success of the procedure; when the restorations arrive and are set in place, you will have a three-week trial period to determine whether any further changes need to be made.

Dr. Greenman and his staff understand that, for some patients, extensive dental work can cause anxiety. BriteSmile® Teeth Whitening - Available in Westlake Village

For many people with stained or yellowed teeth, the answer to their cosmetic needs is the simple procedure of teeth whitening. Westlake Village dentist Steven C. Greenman, D.D.S., uses the BriteSmile® system, which can whiten teeth up to nine shades in about an hour. We often include teeth whitening as a part of a smile makeover, and also provide BriteSmile® in-office whitening free of charge to our patients who choose to be fitted with porcelain veneers.

BriteSmile® teeth whitening is fast, painless, and easy, producing dramatic results in a single office visit. At the beginning of the procedure, a gentle bleaching gel is applied to the teeth. A blue light is then trained on the mouth to activate the teeth whitening. Our Thousand Oaks staff will ensure your comfort during the process, providing you with a soft blanket and pillow and allowing you to listen to music, watch television, read, or even nap. Once your procedure is complete, you will emerge from treatment with a brilliant new smile.

Porcelain Veneers

Patients often come to us with broken or cracked teeth, as well as teeth with naturally occurring gaps or unevenness. These people are some of the best candidates for porcelain veneers. The Ventura and Thousand Oaks-area office of Steven C. Greenman, D.D.S., is pleased to offer complete transformations of his patients' smiles using only the most modern veneer technology available. We have been creating durable, natural-looking dental veneers for Los Angeles-area patients for more than 20 years.

In addition to traditional porcelain veneers, which require a small amount of enamel to be removed before placement, Dr. Greenman is proud to offer his brand of prepless dental veneers, called Premeers™, to patients throughout Los Angeles. These prepless dental veneers are similar to LUMINEERS® brand veneers in that they require no removal of natural tooth structure before placement, unlike traditional porcelain veneers. If you are interested in being fitted with porcelain veneers, you will first visit our Thousand Oaks-area office for a consultation, during which Dr. Greenman will discuss with you your options and examine your teeth to make sure that you are a good candidate for treatment. Partial and Full Crowns
